Yoima Valdés trained as an actress at the prestigious Juan Carlos Corazza school. Her big-screen debut took place in 1997 in the movie 'Airbag', although in the early years of her career she would dedicate herself more to television, appearing in series such as 'A las once en casa' or 'Compañeros'. In 2002 she worked with Alex de la Iglesia in the movie '800 balas' and from then on she began to get more opportunities in the big screen.
