In 2010, she released her debut album, Animal, and an extended play, Cannibal. Animal debuted at number 1 in the United States, and two singles from the album, "Tik-Tok" and "We R Who We R", both reached number one on the charts. In 2012, she released her second album, Warrior, which included her eighth top ten hit, "Die Young". After a four-year hiatus, she released her first song in 2017, "Praying".
