Barbara Crampton is an American actress who made her screen debut on the daytime drama Days of Our Lives in 1983 and her film debut in 1984's Body Double. She is best known for her roles in the horror comedy Re-Animator (1985), Chopping Mall (1986), From Beyond (1986), Castle Freak (1995), You're Next (2011), We Are Still Here (2015), and Little Sister (2016), earning her the title of Scream Queen. Crampton was born on December 27, 1958 and grew up in Vermont. She was raised Catholic and spent her summers traveling the country with her father, who was a carny.
